Nelu Pascu war born in 1963 in Cosmesti, Romania. He left his country after had studied painting with Gheorghe Miron, and established in Italy, then in France, in Catalonia, in England, and then came back in Italy.

In Padua, his actual town, he became “The Specola’s artist”.

He defines himself a self-taught artist, and his strenght is in the color: his artwork are characterized by the use of spatula and the power of an absolute black and a strong white.
